How does it work?

At MGR’s FeelNu Medical Spa and Wellness Center we are using Alma’s Harmony^®XL laser with the ST handpiece which is ideal for targeting those telltale signs of aging, including jowl and neck laxity, sagginess under the eyes, droopy brow lines, nasolabial folds, and in general lax skin anywhere on the body. Using Harmony^®XL ST handpiece with near infrared technology, deep dermal heating induces neocollagenesis resulting in an increase in skin firmness. The near infrared ST hand-piece delivers uniform energy distribution and effectively targets lipids and connective tissue. Hence it produces dramatic, yet comfortable deep dermal heating without damage to the epidermis. It exerts its biological effect on the skin through two major mechanisms:

• Heat-induced collagen shrinkage and micro-thermal injury
• Dermal regeneration, repair (healing) and remodeling

Although fantastic results are achieved with the first session, a series of three to six treatments is recommended for tighter, fresher appearance and long-lasting results.
