At FeelNu, we pair your Radio Frequency Microneedling treatment with your own platelet-rich plasma (PRP). We exclusively use EndyMed's RF Microneedling machine due to its superiority of results when compared to other machines on the market. EndyMed's RF Microneedling hand piece allows for continuous needle insertion paired with RF power to provide the maximum amount of energy and comfortability with no bruising, bleeding or harsh side-effects.
When the needles penetrate the dermis to deliver radio-frequency to the targeted tissues, the micro needles create small injuries to the skin to initiate a healing cascade. New collagen forms after fibroblast stimulation from injuring cells fills in the wounded areas and increases skin thickness. This process may last from weeks to months after procedure, but may vary from amount of treatments. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) derived from the patient’s blood plasma receives enrichment with platelets. This promotes healing to the injured tissues and cells. The radio-frequency and PRP allows for a faster healing response, increased collagen production, and remodeling of the tissue and cells, as opposed to non-RF microneedling without PRP.
The entire epidermal layer is intact, so there is little downtime and the patient can resume normal activities quickly.
To get the best results, we recommend keeping the area clean. This includes not washing the face for 12-24 hours and free from make-up following the treatment session. Using a calming lotion such as a light moisturizer and sunscreen is also recommended after treatment.
You can expect full results around 1-4 weeks after your first treatment. Collagen takes time to produce, so you may want to take pictures to watch your progress. Tightening of the face and neck gradually appears over 6-8 months. Though this depends on the number of treatments. For best results, we recommend 2-3 treatments. This may vary from patient to patient.
A topical anesthetic numbs the target area 30 minutes before the procedure begins. This provides comfort throughout the treatment.
